EX DeFi operates through exdefi.com and presents itself as an AI/Web3 platform for cloud mining and digital-asset income. The site lists info@exdefi.com and the address Enterprise Way, Retford, Nottinghamshire, England, DN22 7HH. It advertises contracts with daily returns and says earnings can be withdrawn while the principal is returned after the contract ends.
Is EX DeFi regulated?
I could not confirm a current UK financial licence connected with exdefi.com. There was previously a company called EXDEFI LTD, but Companies House records show it was dissolved on 9 August 2022 and had a different London address. I found no evidence proving that this dissolved company operates the current website. (
The Retford address also appears in Companies House records for several unrelated industrial businesses, so the address alone does not establish EX DeFi’s legal identity.
EX DeFi withdrawal problems
The advertised returns deserve particular attention. Promotional material published by EX DeFi gives examples such as a $10,000 contract generating $161 per day for 30 days. These are company claims rather than independently audited investment results.
Be cautious if a withdrawal is followed by requests for:
- additional cryptocurrency deposits;
- tax or commission before payout;
- wallet activation;
- insurance or verification fees;
- purchase of another mining contract.
Do not assume that a balance displayed inside exdefi.com means those funds are already available outside the platform.
EX DeFi reviews
Recent complaints published about EX DeFi describe users being encouraged to deposit more money and then facing problems when trying to withdraw. One complainant wrote:
“They stopped communicating when I requested a withdrawal.”
Another published case describes a claimed loss of $9,000 after repeated contact and deposits. These remain individual user allegations, not independently verified transaction records.
What should investors do?
If EX DeFi is already delaying your withdrawal, I would not make another payment simply to unlock the balance. Save transaction hashes, wallet addresses, screenshots, emails and all communication with the platform.
