Polyx operates through polyfax.cc. The platform is not a traditional broker. Instead, it offers prediction markets.
Users can speculate on events such as Bitcoin price moves, elections, politics and sports. Each market has “Yes” and “No” outcomes.
The interface looks modern. However, the legal documents deserve much closer attention.
What is Polyx actually offering?
Polyx presents thousands of active prediction markets.
A user buys a position on a future outcome. If the prediction is correct, the position may settle at a higher value.
This model is different from Forex or CFD trading. Still, users deposit real money or cryptocurrency.
Therefore, the withdrawal rules matter just as much as the trading interface.
The legal information raises questions
Published analyses identify Forecast Harbor N.V. as the company named behind Polyx.
The platform also references company number 168942 and certificate DPM-CO-2026-0419.
However, the documents reportedly use different names for the supposed regulatory body.
One section mentions the Curaçao Digital Markets Authority. Another refers to the Curaçao Digital Commerce Registry.
That inconsistency matters. A financial platform should clearly identify one regulator and one licence status.
The withdrawal condition is especially important
The most concerning detail appears in the AML policy.
According to an analysis of the Polyx documents, the platform may request a verification deposit or account top-up before allowing a withdrawal.
If the user refuses, access to the existing balance may remain restricted.
This is a serious risk.
Verification normally requires identity documents. It should not require a client to deposit more money simply to receive funds already shown in the account.
Polyx reviews and withdrawal risks
Because Polyx is still new, the independent review history is limited.
Recent warning articles already focus on the same issue: additional payments before withdrawal.
That does not prove every user will lose money. However, any request to top up the account before receiving an existing balance should be treated very carefully.
The real test is simple.
Can the user withdraw without sending more money?
Do not confuse Polyx with other projects
The name Polyx is used by several unrelated products.
There is also an older Polyx crypto exchange. Its Telegram channel states that operations ceased on June 30, 2026.
There is also POLYX, the native token of the Polymesh blockchain.
These are separate projects.
Therefore, users should not assume that the history or reputation of another Polyx product applies to polyfax.cc.
Be careful with paid verification
Suppose Polyx shows $7,000 in the account.
A representative then asks for another $1,500 for verification.
That extra payment does not prove the $7,000 can actually be withdrawn.
Be cautious with requests for:
- verification deposits;
- account top-ups before withdrawal;
- tax paid separately;
- wallet activation fees;
- AML clearance payments;
- insurance before settlement.
If a fee is legitimate, request the exact contractual basis.
Also ask why it cannot be deducted from the existing balance.
What should users do?
First, stop additional deposits if a withdrawal is already blocked.
Save screenshots of the Polyx account. Keep the complete market and transaction history.
Next, preserve emails and support messages.
For crypto payments, save every wallet address and transaction hash. Bank and card payments should be checked for the real recipient.
Finally, request every withdrawal condition in writing.
The prediction-market format may look simple. However, unclear regulatory wording and the possibility of a paid verification deposit create significant reasons for caution.
