BBS Markets operates through bbsmarkets.com and offers Forex, futures, stocks, cryptocurrencies, metals and indices through MetaTrader 5. The company lists support@bbsmarkets.com and the address Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia.
The trading offer looks attractive: spreads from zero, leverage up to 1:1000, crypto deposits and withdrawals supposedly processed within one hour. The regulatory side is much less impressive.
Is BBS Markets regulated?
BBS Markets is associated with a company registered in Saint Lucia. However, registration of an International Business Company in Saint Lucia is not the same as holding a financial licence to provide regulated Forex brokerage services.
I could not verify a recognised Forex licence for BBS Markets. This distinction matters because traders may see a company registration and assume that a financial regulator supervises the broker, when these are two different things.
With leverage reaching 1:1000, the absence of strong regulatory oversight becomes particularly important: relatively small market movements can cause substantial losses.
BBS Markets promises withdrawals within one hour
The broker states that withdrawal requests are normally processed within approximately one hour and that BBS Markets itself does not charge withdrawal fees. Funds are generally supposed to return through the same payment method used for the deposit.
Those conditions sound convenient, but I would test them with a small withdrawal before increasing the account balance.
Be especially cautious if somebody representing BBS Markets unexpectedly asks for:
- tax before releasing funds;
- account insurance;
- a separate AML payment;
- another deposit for verification;
- payment to close leverage;
- a transfer to a personal card or crypto wallet.
Normal KYC verification may require documents. It should not require an endless sequence of new deposits.
BBS Markets reviews
The independent review history is still small. At the time of checking, Trustpilot showed only around a dozen reviews, all posted within the last year. Most are positive, but such a small sample is not enough to establish a long-term withdrawal record.
One reviewer explicitly mentioned the regulatory issue:
“Withdrawals and KYC were fast. Lack of regulation worries me.”
Another trader reported that profits temporarily became stuck. According to that review, management later investigated the problem and returned the funds.
So I would not claim that BBS Markets systematically refuses withdrawals. The more concrete concern is that the broker currently has a short public track record and no financial licence I could independently verify.
What should traders pay attention to?
Before making a substantial deposit, I would request the exact legal entity, company registration details and the name and licence number of any financial regulator that supposedly supervises the account.
If BBS Markets is already delaying your withdrawal beyond the stated processing period, save the withdrawal request, MT5 history, payment receipts and correspondence with support. Do not send an unexpected additional payment merely because someone says it is necessary to release an existing balance.
