Trade Firm operates through trade-firm.com, while client.trade-firm.com is used for the client account. The website offers CFD trading in currencies, stocks, indices and commodities and claims more than seven years of brokerage experience.

Is Trade Firm regulated?

The company details on the website raise a serious question. Trade Firm states that it is a trading name of TRADEFIRM LP, registered in England and Wales under company number 07389523.

Companies House shows something different: number 07389523 belongs to FOREX TRADING (UK) LIMITED, not TRADEFIRM LP. That company was dissolved on 18 November 2014.

The website also does not provide an FCA reference number that would allow the brokerage activity to be independently verified. For me, the mismatch in the company details is enough to treat the platform cautiously.

Trade Firm withdrawal problems

Published complaints describe problems beginning when clients try to take money out. Users report additional “compliance” payments, insurance deposits and other charges appearing after the withdrawal request.

Be careful if Trade Firm asks for:

  • tax before withdrawal;
  • insurance or a security deposit;
  • compliance verification fees;
  • another deposit to activate the transaction;
  • payment to close alleged leverage.

The balance shown inside client.trade-firm.com does not prove that the same amount can actually be withdrawn.

Trade Firm reviews

One published complaint describes the situation this way:

“When I wanted to withdraw part of the money, I was told to pass compliance and pay 12,000 rubles.”

The complainant says another payment was requested afterwards and access to the account was eventually lost. Other reports describe a supposed “insurance deposit” appearing after a failed withdrawal.

The client subdomain has also been classified as suspicious by an automated security service, which reported multiple provider warnings. (Gridinsoft LLC)

What should investors do?

If Trade Firm is already delaying your withdrawal, I would not send additional money to unlock the account. Save screenshots from client.trade-firm.com, payment receipts, wallet addresses and all correspondence with managers. Contact the bank, card provider or crypto exchange used for the transfer.
