OPAXUM presents itself as a global cryptocurrency exchange. The platform offers spot trading, futures, margin trading and staking. More than 150 cryptocurrencies are advertised.
There is also high leverage. One section mentions 10x margin trading. Meanwhile, another promotes derivatives with leverage up to 100x.
However, the legal side of OPAXUM raises much more interesting questions.
Why does OPAXUM mention Bitget?
The Regulatory section describes OPAXUM’s compliance system. At first, it looks like a standard exchange document.
Then another company’s name appears.
The text refers to information published by “Bitget affiliates.” Later, it says identity verification on Bitget is shortened through eKYC technology.
This is a serious inconsistency. Bitget is a separate crypto exchange.
Therefore, the OPAXUM regulatory page appears to contain material adapted from another platform. At minimum, it raises questions about how carefully its legal documents were prepared.
Where is the legal company?
OPAXUM repeatedly talks about compliance and regulation. Yet its public pages do not clearly identify the legal entity operating the exchange.
The problem becomes even clearer in its law-enforcement policy. OPAXUM tells authorities to address requests to the “specific legal entities.” However, the page does not actually name those entities.
A user should not have to guess which company holds the deposited cryptocurrency.
Moreover, generic references to global compliance are not a financial licence. The exact operator and jurisdiction still need verification.
The platform makes very large claims
OPAXUM describes itself as a first-tier exchange. It also calls the service one of the fastest-growing global cryptocurrency platforms.
Such statements require a track record.
However, the current independent history is extremely short. Public reports date the domain registration to August 2026. As a result, the scale advertised on the website is difficult to compare with years of verifiable trading history.
This does not prove wrongdoing. Still, it is a reason to test the platform before sending a large amount.
OPAXUM reviews: problems appear at withdrawal
Recent OPAXUM reviews are already describing withdrawal difficulties.
One user says a relative deposited 50,000 RUB after seeing social-media advertising about crypto arbitrage. According to the complaint, the withdrawal was later blocked and additional payments were requested.
Another user reports depositing $1,000. The complaint says withdrawal requests were rejected while new payments and gateway commissions were demanded.
These are user allegations. Therefore, they should not be treated as independently verified transaction records.
Still, they deserve attention because they appeared soon after the platform became publicly visible.
Verification should not become a paid service
OPAXUM has a detailed AML and KYC policy. It says incoming and outgoing transactions may be monitored. Verification can take up to 24 hours.
Document checks are normal for crypto exchanges. Paying extra money simply to pass verification is different.
Be cautious if somebody asks for:
- a paid wallet verification;
- tax before withdrawal;
- another deposit for AML checks;
- insurance for the account;
- a gateway activation payment;
- extra crypto to release the balance.
For example, a $5,000 balance is meaningless if another $1,000 must constantly be deposited before it can supposedly be withdrawn.
What should users do?
First, stop additional transfers if a withdrawal is already restricted. Save screenshots of the balance and withdrawal status.
Next, collect the blockchain records. Keep every transaction hash and destination wallet.
Messages with support are important too. Save any instructions concerning taxes, commissions or verification payments.
Finally, request the exact legal entity responsible for the account. Its jurisdiction and regulatory status should also be clear.
OPAXUM has a functioning trading interface and extensive legal pages. However, copied-looking references to Bitget, unclear corporate identity and early withdrawal complaints create substantial reasons for caution.
