Finmo uses several technical addresses, including mobile.finmo.work and workspace.finmo.work. Other associated subdomains include private.finmo.work and core.finmo.work. The platform presents itself as an online trading environment where clients can open accounts and trade currencies, cryptocurrencies and other financial instruments.
The unusual part is that Finmo has almost no conventional corporate website explaining who actually operates this infrastructure.
A licence number appears, but the connection is unclear
Materials displayed through Finmo reportedly refer to ZAO Leader and licence No. 077-001 dated August 29, 2013, allegedly issued by Russia’s former Federal Financial Markets Service.
The problem is not simply whether such names or numbers exist somewhere. I could not verify documentation establishing that the operator of finmo.work is actually the company entitled to use those regulatory details. Public information about Finmo also lacks a clear jurisdiction, registered operator and detailed company information.
For a trading platform, that missing connection is critical. A licence belonging to another legal entity cannot automatically regulate an unrelated website.
The domain is relatively new
Available WHOIS data shows that finmo.work was registered on October 20, 2025. The registrant information is privacy-protected.
This is useful context because the platform has only a limited public operating history. Traders should therefore be careful with claims suggesting that Finmo has been providing brokerage services for many years unless that earlier history can be tied to the same legal operator.
Deposits and withdrawals work very differently
Another detail deserves attention. Available descriptions of the platform indicate that deposits can be made using cryptocurrency through the TRC-20 network, while withdrawals are presented as being available to a bank card.
That makes it especially important to preserve the original crypto transaction. Once USDT or another cryptocurrency has been transferred, the blockchain transaction hash and destination wallet become important evidence of where the money actually went.
The balance shown inside workspace.finmo.work does not by itself prove that the deposited cryptocurrency is held in a regulated brokerage account.
Finmo reviews: problems appear at withdrawal
There are already negative Finmo reviews describing withdrawal difficulties. One user claimed that problems with payouts had been discussed since late 2025 and that obtaining a clear response from support was difficult.
A more recent complaint describes a client allegedly depositing about $3,600 over three weeks. According to the account, after a withdrawal request the user was asked for additional payments described as tax, conversion costs and later a bank guarantee. This remains an individual allegation rather than independently verified transaction evidence.
Other user discussions also mention blocked accounts and additional deposits supposedly required before funds can be released.
Do not let another payment become the solution
If Finmo shows a substantial balance but the withdrawal suddenly requires tax, insurance, conversion charges, a bank guarantee or another deposit, I would stop sending money.
Legitimate KYC procedures can require documents and explanations about the source of funds. They should not become a sequence where every new payment is followed by another reason why the balance remains unavailable.
For Finmo, the central issue is straightforward: several trading subdomains exist, but it is difficult to independently establish the regulated legal entity responsible for the client’s funds.
What should investors do?
If money has already been transferred through Finmo, save screenshots from workspace.finmo.work and mobile.finmo.work, including the balance, trades and withdrawal status. Keep all conversations with the manager and support.
For cryptocurrency deposits, record every destination wallet and transaction hash. If payments were made to bank cards, preserve the recipient names and account details as well.
Until the company behind finmo.work and its claimed regulatory status can be independently verified, I would not make another deposit merely to unlock an existing balance.
